LONDON -- The Beatles will finally have their catalogue made available for streaming on services such as Spotify and Apple Music starting on Christmas Eve.

The band's 13 remastered studio albums and four compilations will also be made available for streaming on Google Play, Microsoft Groove, Napster/Rhapsody, Amazon Prime Music, Deezer, Slacker Radio and Tidal starting at 12:01 a.m. Thursday night.

The albums will not be restricted to subscribers as all users of free services such as Spotify and Deezer will have access to the music.

This is the second time The Beatles have been made available digitally after their catalogue's much publicized release on Apple's iTunes store back in 2010.

"Are you ready Christmas Eve 12:01 AM we are coming to you from out of the blue peace and love peace love," drummer Ringo Starr tweeted about the news Wednesday.

Individually all member's of the Fab Four have already had their solo albums made available on streaming services for some time with George Harrison's collection appearing earlier this year in October. Wade Sheridan> BNN
