Dilip Kumar celebrates his 93rd birthday

Mumbai, Dec. 11 (ANI): Veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar celebrated his 93rd birthday here at his residence on Friday.

Kumar's wife Saira Bano and others sang birthday song for the legendary actor while celebrating the occasion at his residence in Mumbai. Kumar remains restricted to his house due to bad health.

Kumar was born as Muhammad Yusuf Khan in Peshawar in 1922, which now falls in Pakistan. Dilip Kumar is his screen name.

Kumar, one of India's best known actors in the 1940s and 50s, starred in classics like "Devdas" "Naya Daur", 'Mughal-e-Azam' and 'Kranti' among others.

Kumar has been conferred Dadasaheb Phalke Award, second highest civilian award Padma Bhushan, highest Pakistan civilian honour Nishan-e-Imtiaz among others.
